Book condition: in Good condition with original blue cloth gilt-titled case and gilt edged pages with new end pages (front and rear). Faded and some water marks to cover. Rubbed spine gilt. Int: Reconditioned end papers otherwise Very clean.
Beginning with “The Adventure of a Scandal in Bohemia”, the twelve-story collection includes such classics as "The Red Headed League", "The Man with the twisted lip", and "The Speckled Bank " The stories were originally printed in issues of the Strand Magazine from July 1891 to June 1892 before being collected in book form.
